Pool Deck Coatings
in South Jersey
Slip-resistant, UV-stable, cool-to-touch polyaspartic finishes that stand up to chlorine, sunscreen, and standing water. Built for South Jersey summers and freeze-thaw winters.

Never an acid wash. Mechanical grinding is the only way to get a bond that holds through chlorine and freeze-thaw.
Cool-Deck Polyaspartic.
Built for Pool-Side Reality.
A pool deck coating is the layer between your concrete slab and everything pool life throws at it — wet feet, dripping floats, chlorine splash, sunscreen, hot summer sun, and a Jersey winter underneath. Most decks fail because the surface they were built with can’t take all of that at once.
We install a cool-deck polyaspartic system: diamond-grind the slab, fill the cracks, broadcast a slip-resistant aggregate into a polyaspartic base coat, then seal it with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. The aggregate gives you the grip. The polyaspartic gives you the chlorine and UV resistance. The light-reflective color blend keeps it cool to touch.
Compared to sealed pavers (joint sand washes out, pavers shift, sealer flakes), stamped concrete (slick when wet, dye fades, sealer peels), or an old textured broom-finish deck (cold gray, gets scorching in July) — a polyaspartic cool-deck is one continuous, repairable, low-maintenance surface that just works.
What You Actually Get
Six things a cool-deck polyaspartic gives you that a sealed paver, stamped, or broom-finish deck can’t.
Slip Resistance, Built In
A broadcast aggregate texture coat is laid into the polyaspartic before the topcoat seals it. The finished surface grips wet feet — not just dry ones.
Cool to Touch
Light-reflective color blends and the right aggregate keep the deck cooler underfoot than dark stamped concrete or sealed pavers in full Jersey sun.
Chlorine & UV Proof
Polyaspartic chemistry shrugs off chlorine splash, salt-system water, sunscreen, and direct UV — it stays the color we install it.
Hides Old Deck Damage
Spalled edges, hairline cracks, pitted broom finish, faded sealer — the prep and base coat fill, feather, and bury most of it before the finish goes down.
Low Maintenance
Hose it off. That’s the routine. No annual re-sealing, no acid washes, no joint-sand top-ups, no pressure-washing rituals.
Resort-Style Look
A clean, seamless deck in the color and texture you choose — no busy pavers, no stamped concrete grout lines, no chipped sealer patches.
Four Steps.
No Surprises.
Crew-led from the diamond grinder to the topcoat. You see the same team on day one and day two — never a rotating sub-crew, never a franchise script.

Diamond Grinding & Repair
Mechanical diamond grinding opens the concrete profile — never an acid wash. Cracks are chased and filled, spalled edges are feathered, joints are addressed.
Texture Coat & Aggregate
Polyaspartic base coat goes down, then the slip-resistant aggregate is broadcast into the wet coat to refusal. Excess is reclaimed once cured.
UV-Stable Topcoat
A clear UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat seals the aggregate, locks in the color, and gives you the cool-to-touch, slip-resistant finished surface.

Pick the Finish That Fits Your Deck
Four cool-deck aggregate blends. Lighter colors stay coolest in full sun; slate reads dramatic on shaded or covered decks. We’ll bring samples to the estimate.

Light Tan Stone
Warm tan, cream, and ivory aggregate. Light-reflective for full-sun decks.

Neutral Gray
Soft silver and mid-gray blend. Modern and quiet against any pool color.

Sandy Beige
Warm sand and caramel aggregate. Resort-feel finish, hides pool splash drips.

Slate
Deep charcoal and slate blue-gray. Dramatic; best for shaded or covered decks.
Color samples are an approximation. Final finish appearance varies with light, broadcast density, and deck color choice.

No — that’s the whole point of a cool-deck system. We pair a light-reflective color blend with the right aggregate so the deck stays noticeably cooler than dark stamped concrete or sealed pavers in full sun. Pick a lighter finish (Light Tan Stone or Sandy Beige) if max coolness matters; slate looks great but runs warmer.
Very. The broadcast aggregate texture coat goes in before the topcoat seals it, so the slip resistance is baked into the surface — not a coating that wears off. Wet bare feet, kids running back from the deep end, dripping pool floats: it grips.
Polyaspartic chemistry is built for this. Chlorine splash, salt-cell pool water, sunscreen, suntan oil, and standing pool puddles don’t etch it, stain it, or break it down. The UV-stable topcoat means it won’t yellow from sun exposure either.
On a properly prepped pool deck, a polyaspartic cool-deck system lasts many years of summer use before it needs anything more than a hose-off. Every job is backed by a written workmanship warranty — we’ll go over exact terms during the on-site estimate.
Usually not directly — pavers move and sealed stamped concrete needs the sealer fully removed first. For pavers, the right answer is often a poured concrete overlay first, then the coating. We’ll tell you honestly at the estimate whether your existing deck is a coating candidate or a tear-out.
Yes. The polyaspartic system is flexible enough to ride freeze-thaw movement, and it bonds tight to a diamond-ground profile so it doesn’t lift at the edges the way sealers and acid-wash coatings do. It’s spec’d for Jersey weather, not a national catalog.
